A day in the life of the newborn unit in Africa plus some fun shots
Today we continue to go through supplies and we are finding that they have had little time to go through anything and really don't know what we have sent them. True to the bossy slave drivers we are the whole unit is in a buzz trying to please us. Titi has fixed the suction and we did not need the converters. He has also fixed all the monitors Spo2 and a sat machine. He is very grateful for his computer and tools. Milasent Not sure that is the spelling is the head nurse and she has been cleaning her office to help organize the supplies you can she her bent over cleaning. The very messy room is where Linda and I have been sorting through things boy are we tired. The baby in the hat is one Linda's mom made. The fact that Linda's mom was alive and could see was amazing to the kenyan nurses. The black and white bird is a magpie and is bigger then our crows. I noticed this sign about Heifer cows wanted to let Cindy know it made us think of her. Notice people selling food on the street like roasted corn. The drainage system and the black barrels the hold their water. I through in a couple of safari pics too. We also went to a Chinese restaurant and had a wonderful meal including lobster.
